Fresh Bite Restaurant, Los Angeles

Fresh Bite Restaurant, Los Angeles

ECCO was selected by the well-known Italian architect, Osvaldo Maiozzi who’s work can be seen everywhere from Valintino at the Venetian to San Francisco’s Posto, to provide full electrical engineering service for the Italian restaurant with modern yet rustic atmosphere. The lighting was creatively designed to provide a warm and inviting element to the entire restaurant.

Mess Hall Restaurant

Mess Hall Restaurant

The hip new Los Feliz addition serving “glammed-up 1940s dinner-party food” Mess Hall is one of the year’s most tracked and hotly awaited restaurants! A clean retro mod American dining hall and bar in Los Feliz. It’s hard to believe that this space once operated as a Louise’s Trattoria, partner Bill Chait, owner of the Louise’s Chainlet, plus Rob Serritella revamped the space into the above pictured. But, actually this building has much more history than spaghetti with tomato sauce. The new lighting and power upgrade project was executed with perfection!

Bestia Restaurant

Bestia Restaurant

One of ECCO Engineering favorites, Bestia! The name says it all. There’s a walkup that leads to a landing with floor to ceiling windows which face an alley, and an open atrium area inside as the official entrance. A more open layout highlights the kitchen and natural light abounds. Eclectic hanging pendant lamps dot the ceiling while tan leather booths and clean wood accents fill in.  The project was consisted to design an authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Los Angeles with unique refurbished oil drum spouts covering them into lighting features and conceptualizing the industrial look!

Primi Al Mercato & Norcinos Restaurant, Santa Monica

Primi Al Mercato & Norcinos Restaurant, Santa Monica

Yet another masterpiece by Italian architect Osvaldo Maiozzi, ECCO was asked to design a casual Italian dining and market experience, in the new Santa Monica Place which is both a retail space and restaurant with the Laboratorio di Pasta that invite patrons to enjoy delectable first course (primi) small plate dishes in the casual atmosphere of the pub-style dining area. The dual retail store and restaurant of Rimi Al Mercato is designed to provide customers with excellent shopping and dining experience!

Cafe Habana Restaurant, Malibu

Cafe Habana Restaurant, Malibu

Rande Gerber’s Malibu spot, Café Habana in California. The original Café Habana is located in New York, Manhattan. The design team created a new tone for the new location, situated in the Malibu Lumber Yard, the eatery is well appointed with wood accents and some palm shrubbery . According to Gerber, “Café Habana Malibu has become the spot for locals who were craving a place to come both early with their kids as well as late night with friends or a date. It has the ambience and energy people love. Like famous people. Real entertainers love to entertain, “we are fortunate they like to do it at Habana.”
